Honeycomb

The second necklace in the 'beekeepers' series is a honeycomb. Its cells are brimming with many shiny beads of honey - summer harvested and stored.
I'm going to list it in the shop tomorrow.

It's a work of art! It just looks like it would feel and smell of honeycomb! I love those beads of honey!

I would love to see the back of one of your necklaces sometime. I can't see how you finish these so well!

Thanks for your recent comments on my blog. :) I'm so excited to be making so many talented new friends across the globe!

Absolutely lovely. I used to keep bees, and found them to be very inspiring. Made a bee quilt once with honeycomb shibori.

I know of a garden website in the U.S. that carry dye plant seed. It's called, Pinetree Garden Seeds out of the state of Maine and the website is: www.superseeds.com
Their catalog carries seed for Henna, Woad, Indigo, Black Hollyhock and Golden Marguerite.. for $1.35 to $1.60 (U.S. Dollars) per packet. Hope this helps!
