Polygonum Tinctorium Palette

Three colours from my Japanese indigo:

blue - dyed with fresh leaves as described previously

yellow - the leaves from which blue was extracted were boiled and used in a hot dyebath on alum mordanted silk

green - the yellow was overdyed with more fresh leaves
