A few things I brought home from the last trip: an old wooden box, vintage glass beads and leaves folded in my pockets.
I'm making a few more copies of the Fathoming necklaces because we are planning to display a set of them in a real-life location. Details to be announced.
While working on that I've left the pleated bundles from the last post soaking in a variety of dyes and now I have a box of delicious autumn colours.

wonderful photo's, wonderful colours.
Hi Eva, I have been enjoying your blog, which I recently discovered when searching for more information on indigo dyeing. Thank you for sharing your process and your beautiful work. I am in California, and have recently begun exploring dyes made from our native plants, as well as from some non-natives such as indigo. My teacher is Rebecca Burgess, who also has a fantastic blog: http://ecologicalartist.wordpress.com/. It still amazes me that artists and craftspeople can now blog to connect with each other in a way that wasn't possible not so many years ago. Warm regards to you, Dustin
Hi Eva,
