me

Many many thanks to all who wished me well and sent congratulations. Saturday was blue and gold, sunny and good. We held hands and took each other to be husband and wife.

The 'heart of the flower' was made for the day.

Thank you so much, I'm touched by all the good wishes. It feels as though our minimal wedding got a lot bigger with many lovely guests from all corners of the world! I wish I could give you all a slice of wedding cake...

And the flower was indeed hydrangea - originally a potted one that grew all summer on the balcony. I tied it with indigo-dyed silk.

Oh, how lovely!
It's so nice to see a bride and groom look properly reverent on such an important day.
I also love that you didn't succumb to the pressure of wearing elaborate 'costumes' out of Brides Magazine. Your dress, jewelry(!), and flowers are perfection!!!
I wish you only joy and happiness with your beloved.
