What the Future Holds

future hydrangea

I don't tend to write personal stuff here but would like to say this: I'm halfway through pregnancy. Unless my baby has other ideas I'll be closing the shop probably some time in September. I'd like to come back eventually but hard to say when as I've never done this before. So this summer will be the last for tinctory, at least for a while.

Best wishes to your growing family. Much health and happiness to you! I suppose I need to stop 'window shopping,' and make a purchase while I still can. :)

Wonderful news! (well, except for the closing the shop part, but that is totally understandable!) Congratulations on your new adventure.

Such good news eva! I am imagining the baby in naturally dyed clothing, all pleats and smocking. :^D enjoy!

How wonderful for you! I had a September baby as well and hope that you don't get the kind of sticky late August summers we have here.

After it's all over though - you'll have a lovely bundle. From my own experience, I didn't look up from his face until he was a year old.

Blessings to you all.

:)

Oh, congratulations Miss Eva... !
I have no ideas on what mothering is like and quite frankly the very idea scares the hell out of me! But mothering is an inherent instinct so I'm sure if you trust your instincts you won't go wrong... :)
I will miss seeing your stunning work as I am sure you will miss creating it... at least I hope so because I would so love to own a piece myself one day... :)
I wish you and your new family all the very best!
Emma, x
