This Week's

update

This week's update of a few fresh feathers has just flown to the shop. There a new size, even tinier than the small one, and it comes on a 17" chain.

I'm dyeing but it's small skeins of very soft yarn. I'm thinking more and more of the cold October and suddenly have an irresistible urge to knit miniature hats and booties...

Oh no! It's only July and didn't we have an early Autumn and a veerrry long, cold Winter last year?
BTW, it seems to me the smaller your feathers get, the more appealing they are. You must have very nimble fingers!

Oh, yes, I understand your urge to knit tiny stuff! - I believe nothing suits baby skin more than natural dyed wool and silk! Well, natural, undyed fibres looks lovely too - but synthetic colours doesn't really - in my humble opinion :)
(By the way, this is a very good pattern for a baby cap, I made several while pregnant and my babies wore them all the time for more than a year http://grosblog.wordpress.com/2007/05/16/sweet-baby-cap/ - wearing silk hats night and day makes babies immune to colds and ear troubles :)

Those are very mellow colors. I'll have to check out the shop and see what else you've got in there. Good work!
