With Indigo Eyes

with indigo eyes

About a month ago... all bundled up for a winter walk.

She's unfurling like a new leaf, with the same energy that lies hidden in something tightly coiled.

She's quickly grown into the hat I knitted for her back in the summer. The yarn was one of the last things dyed in my indigo vat.

Welcome to spring and your beautiful indigo baby. So glad to hear you are coming into the light. As a two time C section mom I so understand your emotional upheaval. It is important to acknowledge your internal struggles at the same time you revel in the delights of motherhood. Please do try to take a tiny bit of time daily to make a few tiny stitches as it will make a huge difference...my hubby says I am much calmer and happier when I create and those emotions will transfer to your beautiful indigo girl. Know that there will always be dark times throughout your life but they will pass...and I am so looking forward to the time when you transfer them into darkly beautiful art! Hugs from Canada where spring was delayed yesterday with the arrival of more snow!
