Chop and Change

...and then it became impossible again.

Busy days, a trip to stay with the grandparents and now she's decided (at not quite two) she doesn't need a nap any more. Add the teething, the Autumn colds and preparation for the house move.

Sorry to chop and change like that.

PS Thank you for the comments!

My daughter stopped all naps before age 2. I know how frustrating/disappointing/bittersweet that can be and how hard to makes the rest of the day, especially finding your own time. It will get easier!
Hang in there.

Fantastic! Don't apology. It sounds like you're fully there with her. That's your job as a mother. That's a great thing. And limited in time.

You will never regret the decision to be fully in the moment with her when she needed you most. My artist mother was a stay-at-home mom to four girls and she has no regrets at 54 yrs. of age, not a single one.

motherhood..you've just got to go with it and enjoy the time spent with your wee one.. change is always certain! ;)

No need to apologize. Your beautiful work is worth the wait, and your family is the most important thing you can attend to. Enjoy your time with your daughter (and I hope that she does go back to napping to give her mama a little respite).

Be well.
